First of all, I can’t wait to photograph you and your family!
I was born and raised in Hungary and moved to the United States 21 years ago to pursue new opportunities. With a lifelong passion for art, I discovered my love for photography in 2007. Today, I am honored to be a multiple award-winning photographer. My work first gained recognition in 2013 when it was exhibited in an international art show in New York. In 2018 and 2019, I was proud to receive the Best of San Jose Family Photographer and Bay Area - Peninsula Family Photographer awards and was featured as one of 14 amazing photographers in the San Francisco Bay Area.
However, more than any accolade, my greatest hope is that my work resonates with people, creating a deep emotional connection. I am passionate about capturing families and newborns in a way that is artistic, authentic, romantic, and full of life. I truly fall in love with every family who trusts me to capture their moments.
Your Session Experience
My goal is to take the stress out of your photography session. My sessions are fun, laid-back, and meaningful. Most families are surprised by how much fun they have when we meet to capture their images. My clients quickly become dear friends, and they will all tell you how I pour everything into my sessions, making them enjoyable and memorable. My style is relaxed and minimalistic, focusing on your unique family connection.
For family and maternity sessions, we meet at one of the incredible locations the Bay Area has to offer; however, some families choose to have their sessions in their homes. For newborn sessions, we meet in the comfort of your home.
My goal is for your newborn session to be relaxed; I call it a "baby-led session." We'll take our time to attend to your baby's needs throughout the photoshoot. These newborn sessions are scheduled for up to two hours, which gives us plenty of time. I aim for the newborn session to feel like a peaceful Sunday morning.
What kind of photographer are you?
My work has been described as organic, natural, and sentimental with a fine art quality. I combine traditional and documentary newborn photography along with family portraiture to capture authentic images for you to treasure for a lifetime. Imagine your family as fine art. As your photographer, I will provide a generous gallery of images that can be displayed in your home as pieces of art or archived in a custom album to be treasured for generations. These photographs will be an investment in your family history. Images from your session often tell a story, capturing a treasured moment in time. I do not try to make you look perfect, stiff, or unnatural. I am not after that "one" shot with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. Sure, we may get some with everyone looking and smiling, but I promise if we do, it will be because it happened naturally, not because it was forced.
Where will my session be held?
I am an on-location photographer. Together we will choose the perfect location for your session maternity or family session. Your newborn session will take place in the comfort of your home.
How far out are you booked?
I typically book one to three months in advance. If you are interested in newborn portraits, please inquire while you are pregnant. Already delivered? No problem. I try to leave openings in my schedule for last minute newborn sessions.
When do newborn session occur?
I typically schedule these photoshoots anywhere between 1 week old to a month and a half old. Both has their pros. The younger your baby is we can capture how teeny-tiny they are. You can expect your baby to sleep through the session. When it comes to babies who are a two weeks and older, you can expect them to be more alert and we can capture sweet moments your baby looking right at you.
What is included in my SPRING FERTILITY gift?

- Maternity session: will be scheduled on-location and will last for about 60min
- Newborn session: 90-120 min newborn photo session, in the comfort of your home
- 1 x (11x14) print, whichever course will you choose

How much is the All-Inclusive Package?
Your photoshoot is covered as the Spring Fertility Gift.
Digitals are not included.
Anita Barcsa Photography offers Spring Fertility Families a special ALL-Inclusive Digital package pricing. You may purchase your entire gallery of high-resolution digital files for $795. Your gallery will include 80+ photographs; you will receive your pictures via online download.
You’ll also receive a luxury custom designed album (a value of $650) from your session.
Additional products, such as prints, can be purchased directly from your online gallery. But I am always happy to discuss options for the best way to display your beautiful family photos on your walls.
Maternity Session
Maternity sessions typically take place between 32-38 weeks of pregnancy. To ensure availability, it is best to book during your second trimester. Expect your maternity session to last about 45-60 min and take place on-location. You may change your outfit a few times - most clients like to wear a casual outfit for one look and a long maxi dress for another. If you have a significant other, he/she should participate in this session.
Fresh 48-AKA Birth Space Session
Birth is an amazing experience, and precious moments are fleeting. A birth space newborn session allows you to savor those raw memories forever. Your session will take place in your birth space—whether it's a hospital, home, or birth center. These sessions are entirely documentary in nature; I come in and capture you connecting with your new baby. This session is exclusively for the immediate family.
I keep my schedule open around your due date and will visit your space within the first 48 hours of life or before you are discharged from the hospital. The sessions usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour and are stress-free and relaxed—no prepping necessary. You will receive an online gallery with a minimum of 40 high-resolution digital files available for purchase from your session.
***In the unlikely event that I cannot attend your birth space session, I will send a trusted colleague in my place.
NEWBORN SESSION
Includes a custom newborn portrait session that takes place in the comfort of your home. Newborn sessions feature the newborn and his or her immediate family and usually last around 90-120 minutes. Images will be displayed in a private online gallery, digitals, additional prints, and products can be purchased directly from your gallery. All-Inclusive sessions come with a complimentary luxury album from your session (a value of $750). Leave the design to me. I will design and deliver a beautiful custom album that will last for generations.
