Lifestyle In-Home Newborn Photography
When you become a parent, it's your chance to give the most wonderful childhood to someone. Make sure to document these moments only you can remember for now. These photographs are for you to love and cherish right now, but they really are a gift to your children to see how much they were loved at this time in their lives.
My goal for your lifestyle newborn session is to document your family with a natural and modern approach without using props. I'll work with the available light in your home to capture the authenticity and bond of your family. These beautiful images will preserve your fleeting moments in time. We are going to take it nice and slow.
Your in-home newborn session should feel like a Sunday morning.
I typically schedule these photoshoots anywhere between 10 days old to a month old. Both have their pros. The younger your baby is, we can capture how teeny-tiny they are. You can expect your baby to sleep through the session. When it comes to babies who are two weeks and older, you can expect them to be more alert, and we can capture sweet moments of your baby looking right at you.
While there is no strict time limit, you can expect your in-home newborn session to last about 90 min. I encourage both parents to participate in the session and, of course, siblings, if there are any. The more real-life moments, the better.
